Each backpack costs $2.50 to $3. The annual cost for weekend backpacks for 1 child is $250.
If you would like to give towards feeding hungry children, then you can give financially to one of the two non-profit 501(c) 3 organizations that is already feeding hungry children in Cabarrus County:
